Does it need to be enclosed? Does it need to have certain componets to constitute a closet? (i.e.enclosed by sheetrock or other means, or can you just set up a closet organizing system and not enclose it?? I realize ‘conforming’ may mean different in various locations. Much thanks in advance!

I am beginning to realize im running out of room for my clothes. mY closet is packed and my drawers are overflowing but i have a hard time getting rid of things. This year i dropped some sizes, but im holding onto the clothes because since i dropped them un healthy (i was anorexic) im scared i made go back into them. Any ideas on ways to make room and the most efficient ways to create space?? or any tips on how i can organize so i can find everything?? thanks in advance =]]
